Company Overview:

The Oromia Industrial Park Development Corporations (OIPDC) is established under the regulation number 215/2012 and mandated to over sea the construction and administration of the IAIPs in the region. Accordingly, currently there are Two (2) IAIP in Bulbula and Nekemte and 6 RTC in different Central and Eastern Oromia Region.

Oromia Industrial Parks Development Corporation is seeking a talented  Civil Engineer that report directly to the Nekemte IAI Parks Manager and Design and Administration Directorate,

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Planning and Design: Analyze survey reports, maps, and blueprints to create structural designs using software, ensuring they meet load, grade, and safety standards.
• Site Management: Direct, manage, and supervise construction operations to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
• Quality Control: Inspect site work to ensure compliance with design specifications, technical standards, and safety regulations, including checking steel reinforcement and concrete curing.
• Technical Studies & Feasibility: Analyze geological and geophysical reports, along with environmental impact studies, to assess risks and project viability.
• Project Estimation: Estimate total costs, prepare detailed budgets, and negotiate material and labor contracts.
• Safety Assurance: Analyze structural systems against natural disasters (wind, earthquakes) and ensure site safety protocols are strictly followed.

• BSc/MSc in Civil Engineering and related fields that has BSc/MSc/PhD 6/5/4 Years of Direct Work Experiences
