Job Summary

The Senior Electrician is responsible for leading electrical maintenance activities, troubleshooting complex electrical systems, and ensuring reliable operation of industrial equipment. The role includes supervising junior staff, performing advanced fault diagnosis, and supporting automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

Key Responsibilities

• Lead installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. 
• Diagnose faults in motors, drives, control panels, PLCs, and automation systems. 
• Supervise and guide electricians and technicians. 
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities. 
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. 
• Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems. 
• Ensure proper operation of VFDs, soft starters, and motor controls. 
• Maintain electrical drawings, records, and technical documentation. 
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and LOTO procedures. 
• Plan maintenance schedules to minimize downtime. 
• Support equipment upgrades, modifications, and new installations. 
• Coordinate with production, mechanical, and automation teams. 
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements. 
• Respond to emergency breakdowns effectively. 
• Manage spare parts usage and requirements. 

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electricity, or related field. 
• Minimum 5+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience. 
• Experience in manufacturing or factory environment preferred. 

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and power distribution AutoCAD or Electrical CAD
• Advanced troubleshooting skills for motors, control circuits, and protection systems.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
•  Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Hands-on experience with PLC systems (Siemens preferred). 
• Knowledge of HMI, SCADA, VFDs, and soft starters. 
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings. 
• Knowledge of instrumentation and sensors. 
• Leadership and team supervision skills. 
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills. 
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies.
