About Us: SVO is committed to delivering high-quality products to our beneficiary customers. We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate with a strong foundation in accounting principles and a passion for learning.

Position Overview: The Junior Accountant will assist in managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions. This role also involves supporting sales initiatives, contributing to promotional activities and supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting Tasks:
   • Maintain and update financial records and ledgers.
   • Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts.
   • Assist in reconciling bank statements and financial discrepancies.
   • Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
2. Financial Reporting:
   • Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.
   • Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
3. Sales Support:
   • Collaborate with the sales team to understand product sales and promotional activities.
   • Contribute to the preparation of sales-related financial documents
   • Supervision

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Economics, Business Management/administration or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to details and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Experience:

• Fresh graduates from the Classes of 2024 (2016 E.C.), 2025 (2017 E.C.), and 2026 (2018 E.C.) with no work experience.
• Graduates from the Classes of 2024 (2016 E.C.), 2025 (2017 E.C.), and 2026 (2018 E.C.) with up to two (2) years of work experience.

GPA Requirement: A minimum Cumulative GPA of 2.8 

Other requirements:

• Ability to work under pressure 
• Ability to work and live with team

Language Proficiency:

• Proficiency in Afan Oromo (Mandatory)
• Good command in Amharic
• Good command of English.
