Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Contract administrators typically have a wide range of different responsibilities. Broadly speaking, they are responsible for overseeing the creation, negotiation and execution of a contract. This involves undertaking numerous different duties which concerns our construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare sales and purchase contracts
- Negotiate contract terms with internal and external business partners
- Review and update existing contracts
- Ensure that employees understand and comply with company contracts
- Analyze potential risks involved with specific contract terms
- Stay up-to date with legislative changes and coordinate with the legal department as needed
- Ensure all deadlines and conditions described on contracts are met (e.g. payments and shipping’s)
- Maintain organized system of physical and digital records
- Create language standards for existing and new contracts
- Reviews and/or provides guidance in the preparation of contracts, agreements, amendments and change orders.
- Assists in pre-bid meetings.
- Assists in negotiating and executing contracts.
- Verification that all contractual clauses are included in documents (as are appropriate).
- Manage vendor/supplier performance in relation to contractual agreements.
- Ensuring compliance to terms and conditions of contracts.
- Manage contract closeout procedures.
- Track payments to vendors as per contract.
- Assist in debriefings, resolving disputes, claims, litigation and settlements.
- Maintains contract files and records; prepares status reports; and, reconciles differences with Finance and the Project Manager.
About You
- BSc degree in Business Administration with minimum 3 years experiences.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Proven work experience as a Contract Administrator on construction fields.
