The Opportunity
The position holder will be responsible to The SRHR CDF (Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Community Development Facilitator) plays a crucial role in promoting and supporting sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) within communities, particularly in underserved areas. The SRHR CDF is a key player in ensuring that sexual and reproductive health and rights are accessible, respected, and promoted within the community, while also working towards the empowerment and education of individuals, especially those who are often marginalized.

Safeguarding Children and Young People (Safeguarding) and Gender Equality and Inclusion (GEI)
- Understand and put into practice the responsibilities under Safeguarding and GEI policies and Plan International’s Code of Conduct (CoC).
- Ensure that Plan International’s global policies for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Gender Equality and Inclusion are fully embedded in day-to-day work.
- Ensure that Plan Ethiopia contributes to Plan International’s global efforts to ensure safeguarding and GEI, including making sure that relevant reporting and data are submitted.
About You
The Individual
- Relevant degree, vocational training or technical qualification in sociology, Community Development, health and Related
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience (not necessarily gained in an NGO or INGO) or demonstrated equivalent combination.
Languages required
- Amharic and English
- Knowledge of other local languages/Afaan Oromo / is mandatory.
