About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Human Resources Officer to join our HR team. The successful candidate will support day-to-day HR operations, assist in recruitment and onboarding, maintain employee records, and help ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including posting vacancies, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Support employee onboarding and orientation activities.
- Maintain and update employee personnel files and HR databases.
- Assist in attendance management, leave administration, and employee record keeping.
- Prepare HR-related letters, reports, and documentation.
- Support performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
- Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate employee training and development activities.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned.

About You
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant HR experience.
- Good knowledge of Ethiopian Labor Proclamation and HR best practices.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HRIS or payroll systems is an advantage.
- Experience in recruitment, employee relations, or HR administration is preferred.
