Roles & Responsibility
The IT Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all computer-related activities within the organization. This includes managing network systems, ensuring data security, maintaining hardware and software, and supporting all departments with technology solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity.
- IT Infrastructure Management
- Experience in switching and routing, VLAN Configuration, Firewall administration, VPN technologies, Wireless networking, SD-WAN, Network monitoring and troubleshooting, MFA implementation, Endpoint protection (eg, Cortex XDR), vulnerability management, backup & Disaster recovery.
- Responsible for all aspects of IT infrastructure operations and related performance management.
- Evaluate and integrate infrastructure solutions into the overall organization, as determined by business, regulatory and market demands.
- Ensure that all new technologies and services align with Wilmar global standard, business strategic principles and policy guidelines.
- Responsible for the ongoing growth and development of Jr. IT Admin.
- Guide the Jr. IT Admin in setting general process, roles and responsibilities.
- Prepare and maintain the operating and capital budgets for IT Infrastructure (Network equipment – Servers- Workstations) and identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Drive operational efficiencies that improve profitability and user satisfaction.
- Provide technical recommendations on the selection of infrastructure, platforms, and related technologies; apply financial rigor, risk assessment and business rationale to all initiatives to help the management arrive at decisions that maximize business performance.
- Focus on continuous process improvement and staff satisfaction by increasing IT’s value through innovation and emerging technologies.
- Work closely with Jr. IT Admin to provide infrastructure guidance and oversee the infrastructure project portfolio; set appropriate enterprise expectations, manage risks and ensure organization achieves anticipated value; ensure infrastructure initiatives are tied to strategic initiatives.
- Produce metrics showing operational compliance with best practices.
- Manage suppliers to provide a good solution for the business as per agreed plans.
- Develop, manage, and maintain all Repi Soap and Detergent PLC data centers and ensure that all policies and procedure are applied and followed.
- Work with Wilmar Group IT to ensure that Repi soap and Detergent PLC is following corporate standards in all infrastructure, Security and Help desk areas.
- Manage the site telecommunication infrastructure (Internet, VPN, Telephone…) and bill.
- Manage IT assets within the site and perform tech refresh at stipulated periods.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and resolve CCTV system issues.
- End-user Support
- Provide onsite and remote End user support.
- Tracking & documenting support activities using ticketing system (JIRA).
- Proactively understand, analyze, and research new technical problems when needed.
- Implement applications and software upgrades, perform troubleshooting and fine tuning for users.
- Provide end user and technical support for Windows and Mobile OS, File and Print, Office365 services (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Active Directory etc.), Zoom.
- Propose, tailor, and conduct group trainings periodically to cascade the technology know-how to a broader audience.
- Ensure that necessary applications required by users are installed and working as expected.
- Ensure that all PCs are protected from virus attack by installing the latest Anti-Virus program.
- Troubleshoot and resolve end-user hardware, operating system, and software related problems.
About You
Qualification
- Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/ Communications Engineering/ Software Engineering/ Information Technology/ Information Systems
- 8 years relevant experience in IT Infrastructure management, business applications and IT helpdesk
- Certification in A+, N+, CCNA, Security+
- MCP Certificates are an added advantage.
