Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an Accountant at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Financial Accountant will be responsible for financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. They will also ensure compliance with accounting regulations and provide guidance on financial decisions.keeping up to date with new rules and regulations is crucial.Doing physical inventory counts on a weekly and monthly basis and reporting outcome to management. Producing monthly management financial report after having done inventory bank reconciliations and other necessary steps weekly and monthly. Getting the files audited by external auditors or government audits.

About You

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proven 3 years and more experience in financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Proficiency in accounting software Peachtree and Microsoft Excel
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience on import and export is a plus
• Experience in handling bank loans book keeping in contrast to government ever changing rules and regulations related to the topic is key
